Rockin' Blues & Rock'n'Roll with the Mars Attacks guitar!
A band name that does not radiate false modesty, but should rather arouse curiosity. And this is definitely appropriate when you get the chance to experience the new band project of former Mars Attacks guitarist Martin Tselfer live on stage. The repertoire of the "three giants" lies somewhere between Rockin' Blues and Rock'n'Roll, which definitely swings, rocks and rolls that the shack cracks!
Annie and her Boys are back in Walldorf!
Without exaggerating, the Booze Bombs should be one of the hottest export hits of their region, next to Black Forest ham and Calw wool blankets. The ingenious men's rock'n'roll trio is completed by the charismatic front woman Annie Leopardo, whose powerful voice blows everyone away. With their great musical talent and an equally big heart, the four have earned a loyal following throughout Europe and overseas.
We are happy to have the Booze Bombs back in Walldorf!
The next Berlin round in Walldorf is thrown by The Round Up Boys. From the lineup, you could also say Cherry Casino just played switcheroo and swapped instruments among themselves. But it's not that simple, especially since the Round Up Boys also play their very own sound with this transformation. Their idea, which they have been doing successfully for years, is to sound like a high school band in the USA in 1957, and the four of them bring this sound and the feeling for the teen sound of the late 1950s across authentically up to the buttonhole.
Ring-Ring goes the Bell!
Young, wild & authentic, the rockabilly quartet from Emilia Romagna.
They were the big surprise at the 2018 Tear it Up Weekender in Medulin, Croatia. Almost no one knew the quartet from Forli, Italy, at that time. But instead of "old hats", pardon "shoes", the four young Rockabillies offered a power-packed live show that took the spit out of many spectators. Burning applause and several encores were the logical consequence.
Now there is also the opportunity to convince yourself of these qualities in Walldorf.
Red Hot UK Rockabilly Trio: Bellissimo!
Rockin' Em could easily be called the insider tip for this year's Walldorf Weekender. The English trio around Kev Marlow (vocals and guitar) and his son Dion Marlow (bass) with former Keytones member Shaun Patrick O'Keffe has been around since 2008.
Their influences range from doo wop to rockabilly to country. But the band that clearly audibly influenced them the most are the Keytones, where Kev and Dion especially appreciate the incredible sense & talent for harmonies. Their own talent they do not have to hide behind it.
They have long been part of the German rock'n'roll scene. With their unique Teddy Boy Rock'n'Roll sound, the band from Bonn has been rocking all the big stages in Europe since 1992, captivating enthusiastic fans.
Just in time for the 30th stage anniversary, the current studio album "Rock'n'Roll Philosophy" was also released as a double LP on vinyl.
In the last 30 years, the Foggy Mountain Rockers have successfully rocked the stages and brought the audience to the boil again and again, alongside rock'n'roll legends such as Matchbox, Crazy Cavan, Riot Rockers, Flying Saucers or also Robert Gordon, Big Al Downing, Hayden Thompson, Marvin Rainwater, Sleepy La Beef or the Collins Kids, even up to BossHoss.
As a special career highlight, one can certainly mention the support appearance on Chuck Berry's Germany tour.
Look forward to a concentrated load of Rock'n'Roll ... in between the one or other melodic melancholic number.
Limitless madness with the Blues Yodeling Wildman from France.
The crazy Frenchman is a legend. Since the early 1980s Hervé Loison was on the road with various band projects (e.g. Teddy Best, Mystery Train), before he started in 2009 under the name Jake Calypso to breathe new life into the rough and rustic rockabilly in the style of his idols like Charlie Feathers, Al Ferrier & Co. Jake is so convinced of this mission that he literally preaches Rock'n'Roll.
100% Rock'n'Roll and 100% madness are guaranteed!
