John Lewis, known to many fans as the Rimshots singer and frontman of the Moonshine Boozers, gives a rare solo guest performance in Walldorf. At this relaxed one-man acoustic concert Johnny will play his way through his Rock’n’Roll music history. Most certainly, the Welsh saying "lechyd-Da!" which means “Prost”, “Cheers”, “Santé” will be said more than once!
The House Rockin’ Party Band from Bella Italia
The last day of the Walldorf Weekender is again climaxed by an outstanding dance band for those who love Swing and Jive music. The Italian group Lucky Lucianos plays a flawless, energetic Jump & Jive sound. They are strongly based on the Northern Band Sound in the style of Bill Haley & His Comets and Freddy Bell & The Bell Boys the sounds which changed the music world. Other bands, for example, The Stargazers, the Dynamite Band and the Bel-Airs during the 1980s where “hep” to this crowd-pleasing style. You shouldn't miss this show!
The ultimate Boozeabilly Party
This is one of Welshman John Lewis side projects which began in 1996. Here Lewis performs as Johnny Bach, his guitarist is Darrel Higham, and drummer Roger Van Niekerk makes up the trio. Career-wise they have been part of respectively; The Rimshots, John Lewis Rock’n’Roll Trio, Bob & The Bearcats, Darrel Higham & The Enforcers, Killer Brew and Imelda May, this is a Rock’n’Roll super-group! The project allows the trio the opportunity to combine their passion for playing classic Rockabilly along with whiskey and beer drinking.
Over the years, this collaboration has resulted in four legendary albums and several equally legendary concerts, during which musical mayhem and madness prevails. Expect the unexpected - nothing more will be revealed.
