The Portuguese RockerRoy and Oscar Gomes (vocals and guitar), known by the Mean Devils and Texabilly Rockets, together with Ruben El Pavoni (double bass) and Jesus Lopez (drums) founded "Roy Dee & The Spitfires" in 2016. Kieron McDonald may be called as one of the most famous rockabilly musicians from Australia. Since 1998, Kieron has been on the road as a singer and rhythm guitarist for the Flatfoot Shakers before forming his own combo. Powerful Rockabilly, Hillbilly Bop and Rock'n'Roll in the finest 50ies style, the ideal mix to bop, jive or stroll.
Country and Rockabilly meets Tarantino Sound
After 20 years in the music business, the Swedish band "Fatboy" has developed their own style of music, which they call Progressive Rockabilly. They mix the sounds of their idols like Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison with those of the Smiths, Tom Waits and The Cramps. It's not retro, it's not vintage - it's Fatboy!
